To the organiser of the Rally, as to all the participants, Sardinia is not only the country to organise a fascinating and unique motorbike competition, but a real paradise. For its nature, Sardinia has been renamed Heaven of the Mediterranean. A heaven next to home not only for the Italians but for a great number of Europeans, who indicate Sardinia as  favourite place to spend their holidays. This is why a famous slogan says: Rally held in Heaven. A green and blue heaven.
Green, from the Mediterranean scrub and from its great forests, and blue from its sea and sky. Incontaminated sea that every year collect another Lega Ambiente's blue flag, even for its sandy beaches and its cliffs modelled by the wind, which from ages is the exceptional sculptor of natural masterpieces.
Masterpieces of a nature that Sardinian people have been guarding and still guard jealously to offer to all its visitors especially to the less hurried and those offroad riders. Those who has the privilege to go up to the mountains and discover the most secret Sardinian countryside, with its stories, its ancient traditions, the taste of its gastronomy, the colours of its sunsets and the silences of its great spaces telling its ancient mysteries. For all these Sardinia is a country loved by the offroaders who are privileged visitors, important and appreciated, because of their love for nature and with enough ecological culture to appreciate Sardinia in all its beautifulness, in order to spend a pleasant holiday.
For years, the Rally has been for the off road riders the right occasion to discover a Sardinia to visit again to learn more about its villages and its inner archaeological treasures, following the paths and the routes of Rally, from the coast to the mountains. To discover the exceptional ospitality of the people, jealous of their ancient traditions but ready to accept modern times with gratitude.
